I suspect that after combing the world for another country to introduce to the dreaded game, that the dreaded game officials settled on Ireland to try and debunk the reality that this is a game which is only played here, and unique in its stupidity and violence. (Note I'm NOT including the Ireland Australia "International Rules" fiascoes, which are nothing more than a parody of the Real Game with absolutely no heritage or legitimacy.
